What This Position Is All About:

• Act as the SME for all payroll needs

• Assist in Workday Payroll enhancement design, build, testing and deployment.

• Research payroll and tax-related problems and inquiries

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve problems on a timely basis

• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates

• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions

• Monitor compliance with SOX accounting policies and procedures

• Perform research on tax regulations on an ongoing basis and implement all tax law changes in accordance with governing laws and regulation

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax and Legal, as required, for all GL and financial accounting reporting matters
