Make legal technology accessible to everyone
At Saga, we're building the intelligence that helps lawyers think faster, work smarter, and stay in control of their craft. Our AI platform blends legal reasoning with machine precision to make complex work simpler, sharper, and more human.
We're at a turning point. Our platform is scaling fast, AI workloads are growing across regions, and reliability isn't nice-to-have anymore, it's essential. We're opening our first dedicated DevOps role to own the infrastructure that makes all of this possible.
Your role as DevOps Engineer
This is the first dedicated DevOps role at Saga. Until now, infrastructure and reliability have been spread across backend and AI engineers. You're here to change that, bringing focus, ownership, and the right foundations as we scale. As DevOps Engineer, you own the infrastructure that keeps our platform running and our AI workloads fast. You're solving real problems: improving uptime and reliability for services lawyers depend on daily, making deployments smooth so engineers can ship faster, hardening security and pushing us toward ISO 27001 compliance, scaling infrastructure that handles increasingly complex AI workflows, and automating the repetitive work that slows teams down. You'll work closely with backend engineers, AI infrastructure, and compliance, but you're not just supporting them. You're building the systems and setting the patterns that define how we operate. This isn't about maintaining what's already there. You're shaping how we deploy, monitor, scale, and recover from failure. The decisions you make now become the foundation the engineering team builds on as Saga grows.
What you’ll do:
Manage and evolve our Azure infrastructure including App Services, Functions, Storage Accounts, VNets, Container Registries, and Key Vault
Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ensure reliable automated deployments across development, test, and production
Design and maintain infrastructure for AI workloads, including containerized services and external vector databases such as Astra and Weaviate
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and related tooling
Build internal tooling, scripts, and workflows to reduce manual operational work
Own secrets management, identity, and access control using RBAC and least privilege principles
Optimize cost, scaling strategies, and performance across regions
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and long term reliability improvements
Requirements
What you bring to our team
You take pride in building systems that run smoothly. When things go wrong, you stay composed, work through the problem methodically, and prevent it from happening again. You think about failure modes early, automate wherever you can, and naturally own what you're responsible for.
3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud engineering
Hands on experience running production workloads on Azure
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
Experience with containerization using Docker and container based deployments
Deep understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and production reliability
Confidence debugging performance, networking, and deployment issues
Security first mindset including IAM, secrets management, and access boundaries
Experience supporting AI or data intensive workloads is a strong plus
Clear communication and documentation habits
Fluent English is required. Any additional European language is a plus.
What we offer in return

A salary between €60.000 and €70.000 per year depending on experience
Clear growth path towards technical leadership: senior DevOps, platform leadership, site reliability engineering, or cloud architecture.
High autonomy with freedom to experiment, decide, and build your own way
Remote first setup within EU time zones, with optional workspaces
A team that moves fast, thinks clearly, and builds with care
Annual learning budget for certification and conferences
Hardware and workstation equipment budget
Entrepreneurial energy at global scale
