We're Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY), and since 1984, we've been driven by a single, powerful mission: Preserving Families and Securing Futures. We believe that every child and family deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we work tirelessly to build the solid support structures they need to thrive. Our journey began with a commitment to therapeutic foster care, but over the decades, we've grown into a leading national non-profit organization providing a full continuum of services across seven states, including Alabama, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, Ohio, and South Carolina.

We understand that families face complex challenges, from trauma and behavioral health issues to the need for reunification and stability. That's why we don't just offer a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we construct personalized pathways to healing and resilience. Whether it's through our treatment foster care, adoption services, family preservation programs, or behavioral health interventions, we are there to help families weather the storms of life—be it at home, in school, or within the community.
