The following position is to join our RTX Process. Systems and Transformation (PST) Team:

Raytheon’s Enterprise Services-Data (ES-Data) group is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager, Enterprise Data (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) on the Technology Programs and Platform Delivery team supporting RTX’s focus on Digital Thread/Data Strategy as part of our enterprise-wide Digital Transformation initiative.

This individual will drive business value in our operations and supply chain discipline, particularly in our factories, through the Xeta Portfolio and use of data as a strategic asset; and partner with ES and BU teams to ensure their continued partnership in defining and adopting Enterprise Data products and capabilities.

The Senior Technical Project Manager for Connected Factory is responsible for digital delivery across a subset of projects and products at EDX with a focus on maturing technology solutions within our factories and delivering solutions to assist RTX factories with meeting or exceeding KPI targets. The TPM works closely with identified BU representatives, in partnership with other corporate teams, driving delivery of solutions required by those teams to solve our most pressing business challenges. In this role, you will be driving the execution and delivery of scalable, digital products across several factories.

This role requires hands-on mentorship, strong teamwork, communication, and organization skills to drive alignment and execution across various areas within and outside of the Enterprise Data organization. Success requires diplomacy, highly disciplined execution and coordination between cross functional disciplines and teams. Knowledge of the CORE Operating system and prior experience working in operations or supply chain is also required.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee and ensure successful delivery of Enterprise Data products in partnership with operations, engineering, program, product and customer success teams
  • Work with various facets of the RTX organization to help shape and provide input to product roadmaps
  • Provide input to new standards and best practices for Agile delivery in partnership with other ES-Data leaders
  • Engage with business stakeholders to participate and contribute in a way that drives transformation into the organization
  • Partner strategically and tactically with various business stakeholders and ES centers of excellence to drive foundational pillar initiatives
  • Lead project teams using Agile best practices and Agile development methodologies – you will be acting as Scrum Master for some projects
  • Ensure best practices and projects are appropriately documented and updated on Confluence
  • Actively de-risk projects by managing dependencies and removing obstacles for the team
  • Aggregate and monitor team metrics in JIRA, raising and resolving risks as appropriate

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in managing technical projects and products in high growth startups of Fortune 500 companies and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 7+ years' related work experience.
  • Experience leading teams through digital transformation leveraging Agile development methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of the software development process.
  • Deep understanding of Agile philosophy, continuous delivery, cloud-native and micro-service architectures and experience as a Scrum Master
  • Ability to define and develop an incremental, multi phased plan to improve software development practices and deliver value to the business
  • Experience working to deliver data and/or AI solutions for operations or supply chain teams
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with application of CORE Operating System tools and techniques; CORE Champion, Professional or Expert.
  • Prior experience managing technical projects or products, particularly at high growth startups or Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience managing complex, large scale, IT/technical/engineering initiatives
  • Deep understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery
  • Understanding of large-scale application architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Azure or AWS platforms, Kubernetes.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
