Rightangled Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bookkeeper to support our growing healthcare organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment with multiple Group companies, and wants to contribute to the financial health of a fast-paced, mission-driven company - all while working remotely.
Salary Banding - Up to £500 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time
- Perform bank reconciliations for all group companies and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile Stripe receipts with Shopify sales reports. Ensure all postings in Xero are correct.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
- Should be able to manage and support the overall bookkeeping for all group companies
- Provide ad-hoc financial and administrative support as needed

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA Affiliate, or part-qualified ACCA
- Hands-on experience with bank recons, accounts payable and receivable processes
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Good understanding of Xero accounting software is a plus point.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Availability to work UK hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
