We’re Changing the Rentals Industry

We’re a profitable, growth-stage company specializing in industry-leading martech and data SaaS products for the rentals industry. Originally known for building and operating one of the U.S.’s largest rental marketplaces, Rentable, we have since expanded our portfolio to include two high-growth products: MavenAI, an AI mar-tech solution, and ApartmentIQ, a category-leading competitive intelligence software.

We’re a 100% remote team of 100+ spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy, and are proud to have built a community of highly performant people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves. And, we're looking for exceptional people to help further accelerate our growth.

While we’ve raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world’s best investors, we’re profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.

If you like the idea of joining an industry-changing company made up of people who genuinely like each other, Rentable could be a great fit for you.

Rentable was built for renters by renters. With a mission to streamline the apartment hunting process, Rentable aggregates listings from across the United States allowing users to find millions of rental apartment options in one place. Each listing is real and verified, helping to eliminate the frustrations and scams often associated with apartment searches. Founded in 2012 by Alec Slocum, Adam Olien, and Chad Aldous, the service quickly gained traction in their hometown of Madison, WI, before expanding to serve thousands of cities nationwide.

Understanding the pain points of renters, the founders utilized their personal experiences with the challenges of apartment searching to create a user-friendly interface that empowers renters to find their perfect home. The platform features tools such as filters for pet-friendly options and a user-friendly interface that ranks listings by user preferences. Today, thousands of renters rely on Rentable each year to simplify their search for housing and find apartments that meet their unique needs and preferences. Rentable continues to innovate, adapting to the evolving needs of renters while maintaining a focus on excellent user experience and support.
