Job Description

Renesas is looking for pro-active and results-oriented Principal Technology Marketing Manager Industrial Networking and Functional Safety. This position is based out of our Düsseldorf or Munich office in Germany, with the opportunity for remote work within Germany.

Renesas is accelerating its roadmap for industrial automation silicon solutions. As Technology Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the solution definition by consolidating market requirements based on analysis of technology trends, key customer desires and market environment.

This is a global role where you will have the opportunity to work with many stakeholders across the company with high visibility and impact.

Your Role:

• Research market technology trends from a customer or application perspective.
• Identify market growth potential and competitive gains.
• Analyze system architectures of applications and propose optimizations to the Renesas roadmap.
• Work closely with global business development teams to consolidate technology and market requirements.
• Align with key customer’s technical strategists to understand their requirements.
• Interact with user organizations and standardization bodies to capture technology trends.
• Orchestrate Proof of Concepts and Testbed activities with potential partners.
• Set requirements and define roadmap for industrial networking and functional safety solutions.
• Create product value propositions, build business cases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent. MBA a plus
• Openness to explore new technologies and markets to derive implementation recommendations from that.
• Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders on both technical and business levels.
• Proven track record of transforming technical and market requirements into business cases.
• Semiconductor Marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer focus with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with industrial automation technology such as industrial networking, functional safety, security.
• Result-oriented, self-organized, self-motivated with independence of thought.
