Senior IT Infrastructure Expert (mwd)

Our client develops high quality pipes and fittings to solve water and wastewater challenges worldwide and is continuously growing in international locations. Our client is committed to making the world a place where water is used responsibly in the long term and sustainably and is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Expert (mwd), the headquarters are located in Austria (Klagenfurt)

YOUR MISSION

• Based on your outstanding technical expertise, you will be responsible for the continuous ongoing IT operations of an international production company as well as the further development of the data centers. And you have a keen interest in professionalizing international IT operations in coordination with the infrastructure team leader. You love solving technical problems or supporting other colleagues in solving them.
• You will actively support the team leader, who has only recently taken over the management of the infrastructure team, in overcoming the IT challenges at the site and within the Group. With your know-how, you will help to continuously develop the team. Both professionally and personally. The main focus is on IT infrastructures, including network, storage, firewall, virtualization, backup and cloud. The servers run on Windows, the ticket system on Jira. (Cloud or on-premises, BCM, S4-HANA conversion including Linux server are some of the top topics). The aim is to prepare the Group for further growth in the IT infrastructure area.
• You will roll up your sleeves and develop and improve certain IT processes and structures with your team colleagues in the IT area.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• With at least seven years of experience as an expert in IT infrastructure and appropriate IT training, you have proven that you can maintain and improve an infrastructure and solve problems of all kinds.
• You have the best command of the essential technical tools - such as servers, networks, and security - and can introduce or support IT colleagues internationally.
• You like to communicate clearly and enjoy working in an international environment.
• You love to keep up with the latest technical developments.
• You speak great German and English
