We’re looking for a reliable Part-Time Payroll Assistant to take over the day-to-day payroll process as our team continues to grow. Payroll is currently managed internally, and we’re ready to hand off these responsibilities to someone experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable.
This role supports U.S.-based employees, so accuracy and timeliness are essential.
Work Schedule
- Part-time to start (EST)
- Flexible hours, with the possibility of expanding responsibilities over time
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve employee timecards
- Process payroll using payroll software
- Ensure payroll is submitted and completed on schedule
- Send invoices after payroll has been processed
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Requirements

- Prior experience handling payroll
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and able to meet payroll deadlines consistently
- Comfortable using payroll systems
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Basic knowledge of Excel
