One of the biggest financial institutions in Lithuania.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are looking for a Data Platform Architect to join an initiated Master Data Management (MDM) Project, which aims to create a data consolidation platform for efficient management and sharing of master data (e.g., legal entities, financial institutions, products, etc.) between the Client’s internal system and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and developing data warehouse, data lake and ETL solutions based on business requirements and technical needs.

• Developing and enforcing best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality management.

• Defining data governance policies, including master data ownership, quality rules, versioning, and lineage.

• Ensuring the performance, availability, scalability, reliability, and security of data solutions.

• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to architecture standards.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to data processing and integration.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Platform Engineer.

• Proven experience in designing and building data platforms, preferably in large or complex environments.

• Experience in designing master data management systems, data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Airflow or similar.

• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and data validation tasks.

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.

• Understanding of master data governance, stewardship, lineage, and quality frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tools is a plus.

• Experience in leading cross-functional data initiatives or projects.
