The Opportunity
Youth sports is one of the most fragmented and underserved markets in the country—yet it faces increasing expectations around safety, communication, and operational excellence.
We are looking for a Youth Sports Sales Executive to help build and scale this vertical.
This is more than a traditional sales role. You will play a key role in:
Defining how RealResponse wins in youth sports
Establishing repeatable go-to-market strategies
Expanding relationships from clubs to leagues to governing bodies
You will work directly with a team of sports industry veterans and cross-functional teams within a flexible working environment to shape how our platform is positioned, sold, and adopted across the ecosystem.
Youth sports organizations are being asked to do more than ever with fewer resources and increasing expectations around safety, communication, and accountability.
RealResponse is becoming a critical infrastructure layer for how these organizations operate. This role is an opportunity to help shape that future.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow the youth sports vertical, driving new business across clubs, leagues, and state/national associations
In addition to sports, this role will also pursue opportunities with youth-serving organizations to expand RealResponse’s current client base, which includes Scouting America and the Salvation Army
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through proactive outreach, industry relationships, and strategic prospecting
Lead consultative sales conversations with executive stakeholders (e.g., Executive Directors, Commissioners, Safety & Compliance leaders)
Position RealResponse’s platform across key use cases—including safety & integrity, real-time event visibility, and communication workflows—and expand accounts over time
Help define and refine repeatable sales motions across different segments of the youth sports market
Close new business, negotiate agreements, and consistently hit or exceed revenue targets
Represent RealResponse at key industry events, conferences, and association meetings
Partner closely with marketing on segment strategy including driving sales enablement through messaging collaboration and content development.
Work closely with the product/engineering and customer success teams to ensure strong onboarding, retention, and expansion
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through CRM tools
Establish a clear and repeatable sales motion across youth sports segments
Expand RealResponse’s footprint from early adopters to broader adoption across leagues, governing bodies, and other youth-centric organizations
Build strong, trusted relationships across the ecosystem
Contribute to long-term strategy for how RealResponse serves this market
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of sales experience, ideally in youth sports, sports tech, or a related ecosystem
Deep familiarity with how youth sports organizations operate (club, league, or governing body level)
Proven ability to build pipeline and close deals in ambiguous or emerging markets
Experience selling into multi-stakeholder environments and navigating complex buying processes
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with executive-level decision-makers
Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-moving environment
Passion for youth sports and improving the experience for athletes, families, and organizations
Preferred:
Existing relationships within youth sports, including soccer, or adjacent sports ecosystems
Experience helping define or scale a new market or vertical
