Job Description:
Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years
Responsibilities:
Apply existing methods to create designs within the projected solutions
Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
Contribute ideas to the team and direct report that will improve solutions
Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for the software
Partner with Enterprise Architects to build and enhance solutions
Responsible to document techniques/approaches, process flow diagrams and data models
Ability to fine tune application performance
Determine methods and procedures for upcoming projects
Perform code reviews and be able to provide feedback
Undergraduate degree in Computer science or Engineering
Experience with AWS and some of its languages such as Python and Java
Experience managing Agile/Scrum development methodology
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of real time streaming technologies
MUST HAVE SKILLS:· Amazons Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
· Kubernetes Operators
· Go Programming Language
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Experience with Amazons Elastic Container Services (ECS) and Fargate is a plus.
· Development languages like Java, .NET, .NET Core, Node.js, Python etc.
· Pipeline and CI/CD processes
· Web and cloud security models
· Network technologies such as load balancers
· SCM and version control systems
· Strong analytical skills including the ability to manipulate, model and interpret large quantities of structured data.
· Competent in SQL and in at least one major programming language (e.g. Python).
· Proficiency in packages/tools/frameworks for data analytics and visualization (e.g. Jupyter notebooks, Pandas, Kibana) preferred but not required.
· Knowledge of networking and application protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS preferred.
· A dedicated, team-first mentality. Hungry to learn on the job every day.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in an analytical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a similar field preferred or 7-10 years experience. Experience with cybersecurity/web/application security preferred but not required.
