As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking aBusiness Development Executive,to join our team in Mexico, who will be responsible for drives new Transfusion Medicine opportunities, promotes QuidelOrtho solutions through presentations and strong relationships with decision makers, supports growth via cross-functional collaboration and market insights.

Your New Role

Responsible for search opportunities, walk through all sales funnel in companion with sales team to promote our solutions in Transfusion Medicine, ensuring that decision makers in public and private hospitals know the differentiating aspects of the brand to lean the decision towards QuidelOrtho technology for Blood banks.

What You'll Be Doing In Your New Role

  • Identify and establish contact with new prospects in the government and private sectors, including hospitals, laboratories and clinics, using effective prospecting strategies, working hand in hand with the commercial team to accelerate the closing of opportunities for TM;

  • Carry out product presentations and demonstrations, explaining technical characteristics and differential aspects of our TM solution;

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision makers, acting as a liaison between the client and QuidelOrtho;

  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing, customer service, technical and engineering support to ensure a positive customer experience;

  • Maintain updated records of opportunity follow-up and closing activities in the CRM;

  • Compile and identify market trends, customer needs, market challenges and competition to be able to suggest growth markets for TM.

The Individual

  • Qualified as QFB, QBP, Biomedical Engineering or related;

  • Experience in blood banking or as an application specialist in the medical device industry;

  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience;

  • Experience in immunohematology and blood banking is highly desirable;

  • Soft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present information clearly and persuasively, focus on meeting objectives;

  • Hard skills: Use of CRM 80%, Microsoft Office tools 70%, English 60%;

  • Travel 40% domestically.
