The Outbound Sales Account Executive (AWS Practice) is responsible for driving sales opportunity creation in collaboration with the Quantiphi AWS team responsible for all commercial segments supported by AWS. This is a new role as we continue to expand our Canadian footprint.

What you’ll do:

As an Outbound Sales Account Executive (AWS Practice) at Quantiphi, you will play a critical role targeting and engaging prospects to foster interest in our AWS Professional Services and Solutions. You will devise strategies and tactics to creatively find ways to engage target organization leaders via cold calls, LinkedIn and other forms of outbound relationship building. You will nurture the relationships to a point where they can be transitioned to one of our Enterprise Account Executives to execute our enterprise sales motion. You will provide support and continue assisting as needed as the customer is engaged with us during the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Actively reach out to potential Quantiphi / AWS customers via and various social media platforms to introduce your company’s services.

  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings with decision-makers, ensuring smooth coordination between client and sales teams.

  • CRM Management: Keep detailed and up-to-date records of all interactions, meetings, and follow-ups in the CRM system.

  • Lead Nurturing: Develop relationships with prospects, offering tailored solutions and converting leads into opportunities.

  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to refine outreach strategies, ensuring effective targeting and increasing conversion rates.

  • AWS Knowledge: Stay current on cloud and AWS trends to better engage with prospects and offer relevant insights that resonate with their business needs

  • Influence long-term strategic direction with customers and serve as a business partner to them

  • Transition to Sellers: Create a formal process for lead handoff and introductions to ensure sales engagement success

  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Internal GTM teams and our AWS alliance Partners - all to maximize business results in territory and open up opportunities with customers.

  • Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and landscape.

  • Track and measure activity, outcomes and goals daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience with Sales Development, Appointment Setting, Cold Calling, and Outbound Messaging (LinkedIn, Cold Emails).

  • Sales Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant sales and outreach tools (CRMs, Prospecting Tools, Automation Tools, etc).

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple schedules.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, CRM systems, and communication tools like Slack, ChatGPT, ZoomInfo, Zoom and LinkedIn.

  • Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality data in systems.

  • AWS Experience & Expertise: Deep experience working with / for AWS

  • Sustained experience selling Professional Services for a non-product company

  • A minimum of 8 years Professional Services sales experience (not as part of a software company)

  • Experience working with AWS customers Experience in solution sales of “in the Cloud services and solutions”’

  • Experience handling Data Analytics and AI/ML projects solving various use cases across industries

  • Ability to work with GTM Pre-sales Team to lead Sales effort across the AWS ecosystem

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives and ability to influence decisions at that level.

  • AWS Cloud technical expertise and customer service delivery experience

  • Experience with services commercialization, productization, and positioning services with customer

  • Possesses a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams

  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, delegation, planning & organization and judgment

  • Possesses outstanding written and oral communication

  • Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity

  • Able to collaborate across organization and with external stakeholders

  • Holds strong operational skills that will drive organizational efficiencies and customer satisfaction

  • Willing and able to address escalated client issues with speed and urgency

  • Able to travel regionally - expected at least 50%

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience. MBA is highly desirable
