About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Security Lead to drive security strategy and operations across multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. The role focuses on protecting cloud platforms, network infrastructure, endpoints, and sensitive data while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of network and endpoint security controls
- Manage firewalls, DNS, VPN, WAF, proxies, DDoS protection, and endpoint security platforms
- Oversee multi-cloud security posture (Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, OCI)
- Operate and optimise Azure Firewall, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Network Firewall
- Drive Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and misconfiguration remediation
- Ensure secure remote access and enforce MFA across critical systems
- Manage PKI, certificate lifecycle, and encryption standards
- Lead vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response coordination
- Implement automation using Terraform, PowerShell, and CLI tools
- Maintain logging and telemetry (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Log Analytics)
- Support compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment (e.g., GDPR, CIS, NIST)
- Contribute to BCDR planning and ensure infrastructure resilience
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L2 security analysts
Requirements
- Strong experience in multi-cloud security architecture
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, AWS security services and cloud-native controls
- Deep understanding of IAM, MFA, RBAC, and secure access governance
- Experience with WAF, DDoS, proxy, and layered security architecture
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes
- Strong automation and scripting skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership capabilities
