The opportunity
As our ‘AI Champion’, you will lead Protecht's AI initiatives, driving the integration of AI technologies and ensuring our solutions deliver tangible value to our clients and colleagues. This role is pivotal in shaping our AI strategy and fostering a culture of innovation.
Located in our central Sydney office (hybrid work from home option available) and reporting to our Head of Business Delivery you will drive the delivery of AI projects across the business.
What you'll Do
- AI Strategy Development: Influence, Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with our business goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Lead and manage AI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- AI Integration: Oversee the integration of AI technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all AI-related initiatives, engaging with stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and successes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of AI specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of AI initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement
- Reporting: Provide concise project reporting highlighting milestone status, financials and capacity forecasting to executive management
- Risk Management: Manage risks and issues. Escalate and help resolve team impediments.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years Project Management experience, working across multiple cross functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering AI projects incorporating:
- Machine Learning (ML): Implementing predictive analytics and risk assessment models.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP): Enhancing data extraction and analysis from unstructured text.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Streamlining repetitive tasks and improving operational efficiency.
- AI-Driven Dashboards: Providing real-time insights and analytics through advanced data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
