As our E-Learning Platform Specialist, your mission is to conduct a comprehensive review of our existing e-learning platform architecture, evaluate the integrated content structure, and perform content optimization to enhance learning effectiveness and user experience. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement across our technical infrastructure and learning content, ultimately delivering a strategic roadmap that elevates our e-learning capabilities and learner outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Platform Architecture Assessment
Review the current e-learning platform technical architecture and infrastructure
Evaluate Learning Management System (LMS) configuration and settings
Assess platform scalability, performance, and integration capabilities
Review user experience and navigation workflows
Document technical limitations and opportunities
Content Structure Analysis
Audit the existing course catalog and learning paths
Evaluate content organization, taxonomy, and metadata
Assess instructional design frameworks currently in use
Review content accessibility and compliance standards (WCAG, SCORM, xAPI)
Analyze learner engagement data and completion rates
Content Review and Editing
Conduct a detailed content quality assessment across all modules
Identify gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies
Evaluate alignment with learning objectives and outcomes
Review multimedia elements (videos, images, interactive components)
Assess content accuracy, relevance, and currency
Perform editorial improvements for clarity and engagement
Recommendations and Implementation Planning
Develop prioritized recommendations for platform improvements
Provide content restructuring proposals
Create content editing guidelines and a style guide
Deliver an implementation roadmap with timelines
Suggest metrics for ongoing quality assurance

Architecture Assessment Report: Comprehensive analysis of platform capabilities, limitations, and recommendations

your profile
Required Experience
5+ years in e-learning instructional design and platform management
Expertise in LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, WordPress, or similar)
Strong knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and e-learning standards
Proven content development and editing skills
Understanding of adult learning principles and pedagogical frameworks
Technical Skills
Familiarity with authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Rise, etc.)
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and basic web technologies
Experience with learning analytics and reporting tools
