ProArch is a fast-growing IT services and consulting company with offices in Upstate NY and Atlanta, GA. To support our expanding client base, we are seeking highly qualified, motivated, and industrious professionals for multiple open positions as Consulting Engineers.

Role Overview

As a Systems Engineer at ProArch, you will collaborate with clients to design and implement technology solutions that align with their business goals. This role is client-facing and requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure environments, including hybrid and on-premises infrastructure. You will work closely with the Industry Solutions Program Manager to assess, design, secure, and support enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, migrate, and manage Microsoft Azure environments including IaaS, PaaS, and Virtual Networking.
  • Implement and manage Azure Local infrastructure components and hybrid integrations.
  • Deploy and administer Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance, and security.
  • Configure and manage Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, DFS, IIS).
  • Support Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions including Azure Site Recovery and Veeam.
  • Collaborate with clients to align technology solutions with strategic business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide expert-level support.
  • Interface with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

•  Clean valid U.S. Issued Driver’s License
•  Willingness to travel up to 50% of time, coordinated with personal availability

•  Proven collaborator

•  Mentoring, education, and technical oversight related to projects and new technologies to internal staff and customers
•  Divergent thinker that can provide creative and resourceful input to problems
•  Takes ownership of project, tasks, and client deliverables
•  Motivated, thorough, innovative, accurate, and articulate
•  Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
•  Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
•  Produce project documentation in a concise and clear manner
•  Proven presentation preparation and delivery skills to a diverse audience from C-suite to end users
•  Maintain expertise in relevant solutions, products, and services
•  Broad base of knowledge of the IT services industry and trends
•  Analysis and identify best practice gaps
•  Collaborate with Sales Management to:
o Identify sales opportunities
o Up-sell and cross-sell client
o Proposal development
o Close deals
•  Collaborate with ProArch’s Security team to harden and make recommendations to customers
•  Provide daily time accounting and monthly expense report submittal
•  Maintaining of professional certifications and obtaining new certifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Strong background in Intune deployment and policy management.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and Azure Arc.
  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere or Hyper-V is a plus.
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions (DELL/EMC, HP, Microsoft).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/VPN, firewalls, routing).
  • Ability to conduct strategic technology assessments and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in client-facing scenarios.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Azure Lighthouse, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
  • Exposure to security hardening and incident response in cloud environments.
  • Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or MS-102 are highly desirable.
