About Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts
Since 1928, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) has been the state's most trusted provider of sexual and reproductive health care, education, research, and advocacy. For nearly 100 years, PPLM has served as a lifeline for thousands of patients each year, operating four health centers across Massachusetts and providing telehealth services statewide. As part of a network of more than 600 Planned Parenthood health centers nationwide, PPLM delivers high-quality, affordable care including birth control, abortion services, STD testing and treatment, gender-affirming hormone therapy, cancer screenings, and preventive health services.
PPLM is nationally recognized not only for clinical care but also for its leadership in comprehensive sex education and cutting-edge research through the ASPIRE Center. The organization works toward a future where sexual health is a personal and public health priority, creating environments where people can access care without judgment regardless of income, age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or immigration status. Through its affiliated 501(c)(4) advocacy arm, the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts, PPLM also leads legislative and electoral efforts to protect and expand reproductive rights, achieving major policy victories that codified abortion rights in state law and established some of the nation's strongest patient confidentiality protections.
