This is a full-time, permanent, remote position, and we're particularly interested in candidates from Eastern Europe.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Software Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing Requirements: Understand user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Test Planning and Execution: Perform various levels of testing, including UX/UI and system testing.
- Defect Management: Analyze test results, identify errors, bugs, and usability issues. Track and manage software defects and inconsistencies, providing recommendations for repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Provide QA support and maintain relevant documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Development team and Customer Support team for smooth coordination and understanding of project needs.
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working remotely for a US-based or EU-based company.
- Must be absolutely fluent in English with excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
- Must be absolutely fluent in Rus and/or Ukr languages
- Basic software testing experience or other IT experience
- Great organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong technological aptitude.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Bonus Points
- Experience working for a technology or SaaS company.
- Advanced proficiency in Jira, YouTrack, Postman and other testing and issue tracking tools.
- Experience wth test automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium or similar.
- University degree
- You love playing chess and solving puzzles
