Responsibilities
The Director of Provider Enrollment is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the comprehensive provider enrollment and credentialing process within the healthcare organization. This position drives the end-to-end strategy for integrating new healthcare providers into the organization's network, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards.The director will lead a team of enrollment specialists, develop and implement efficient enrollment workflows, and collaborate across multiple departments to streamline the credentialing and onboarding processes
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree preferred
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
- Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM)
- 5 years experience in healthcare and provider enrollment
- 2 years of previous leadership experience required
- Knowledge of credentialing standards, which includes state and federal regulations as well as hospital regulations and NCQA standards
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex provider enrollment operations

- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multiple departments
- Ability to coordinate and meet deadlines and deal with stressful situations
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions
- Ability to analyaze, problem solve, and make strategic decisions.
