The Role
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will lead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of customer integrations and implementation projects. You’ll act as a trusted technical partner post-sale, ensuring each customer’s data sources connect cleanly to PAXAFE’s internal model.
You’ll design solution maps, identify long-lead items, surface dependencies, and build phased implementation plans that de-risk deployment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll balance technical depth with clear communication — helping both customers and developers achieve alignment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to uncover data sources, dependencies, and system constraints.
- Create solution maps and architecture diagrams linking customer systems and data fields to PAXAFE’s internal schema.
- Develop phased implementation plans, identifying long-lead items, critical information, and risk mitigations.
- Define API contracts, webhook schemas, transformation logic, and validation criteria for integrations.
- Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering to sequence deliverables and manage technical handoffs.
- Participate in customer implementation calls, guiding technical conversations and ensuring readiness.
- Use Linear for progress tracking and Figma / FigJam for solution mapping and documentation.
- Document reusable integration patterns and lessons learned to scale future projects.
- Support quality assurance and troubleshooting for live integrations as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Technical Consultant within a SaaS or data-platform company.
- Experience designing and implementing data integrations, REST APIs, webhooks, and relational database models (PostgreSQL, Supabase).
- Familiarity with Azure, Python, Postman, Prismatic, GitHub, and JSON-based data workflows.
- Strong communication skills — able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to ask the right questions to extract technical details from business stakeholders and coordinate vendor setup for automated data flows.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with attention to sequencing, scope, and delivery quality.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment that requires adaptability and initiative.
- Bonus: Exposure to life sciences, pharma logistics, GxP, or IoT ecosystems.
