About this Role:
We’re looking for aSalesforce Technical Manager to lead the team responsible for designing, building, and optimizing Salesforce and connected GTM systems. This role combines strategic platform ownership, people leadership, and hands-on technical expertise.
The ideal candidate is a player/coach, someone who can guide a team while also rolling up their sleeves to contribute technically through configuration, development, solution design, and code review. They ensure the platform supports scale, drives efficiency, and delivers a reliable and intuitive experience for our GTM teams.
Responsibilities:

Cultivate a culture of quality, documentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Own the Salesforce roadmap and platform strategy, partnering with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with business priorities. Translate business needs into phased, technically feasible initiatives, proactively identifying long-term architecture needs, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Act as a hands-on technical leader, supporting declarative configuration, Apex debugging, flow optimization, integrations, and light to moderate development. Provide architectural guidance on data model design, automation strategy, user experience, and integrations.
- Ensure solution quality and platform governance through code reviews, adherence to security/compliance/performance standards, and consistent patterns for both configuration and code. Oversee the full QA and release management process, including testing, sandbox strategy, branching, documentation, and release cadence.
- Drive effective change management and user enablement, ensuring the team produces documentation, training, and in-app guidance. Monitor adoption, usage analytics, and data hygiene to identify areas for reinforcement or retraining while promoting intuitive, user-centered design.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex system issues, technical design decisions, and requirement clarification. Collaborate with IT, Security, and Data teams on integrations, access policies, and compliance, while also supporting broader company initiatives such as acquisitions, migrations, and product or pricing changes.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience (Admin, Developer, Architect, or similar).
- 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on Salesforce development ability (Apex, Flow Orchestration, API troubleshooting).
- Experience conducting code reviews, solution reviews, and technical design reviews.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Ability to bridge technical and business concepts effectively.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies and structured change management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
