Overall Purpose of Role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer specialising in React with 5+ years of professional experience. You will take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end applications. Beyond coding, you’ll set best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with design, product, and back-end teams to deliver seamless experiences

Skills and Competencies - Must haves
- Expert in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep expertise with React (hooks, context, state management, component architecture, performance optimisation).
- Experience with frameworks like Next.js for SSR/SSG.
- Strong knowledge of CSS, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
- Proficient in accessibility (WCAG standards) and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for front-end projects.
- Strong testing experience: unit (Jest), integration, and end-to-end (Cypress/Playwright).
Optional positives
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with GraphQL and API-driven development.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with micro-frontends and design systems (Storybook, component libraries).

8:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (GMT).
