Position Description:
The PAR Punchh team provides a customer loyalty application used by restaurants to encourage customers to return by offering coupons, promotions, and loyalty credits. The Developer Relations team supports software developers integrating with PAR Punchh APIs through reference documentation, developer guides, Postman collections, sample applications, and training. The co-op student will assist in developing these assets—spanning configuration, testing, coding, and writing. This is a 4- or 8-month position.

What We’re Looking For:
Undergraduate university student in a STEM program (e.g. math, physics, engineering, statistics, computer science)
Successful completion of two university courses using two different programming languages, including at least one of: Java, Python, or JavaScript (transcripts required)
Proficiency with command line usage on Linux, MacOS, or Windows to manage files and processes
Experience working as a cashier in an in-person retail or hospitality business (e.g. restaurant, grocery store, hotel)
Additional skills:
Experience working in a restaurant, coffee shop, or similar business
Experience in customer service or support
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
Test, develop, and evolve Postman collections to demonstrate use of PAR Punchh REST APIs (JavaScript-based)
Understand Punchh business configurations to support API testing
Develop sample applications using Java or Python to help developers integrate with Punchh APIs
Write documentation to support Postman collections and sample applications
