This is a remote position.

Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and looking for a career path with a clear technical focus? We are looking for aRoofing Claims Estimatorto serve as the "Architect" of our claims process.

You do not need decades of roofing experience.
While experience with Xactimate is a plus, we are looking forAgility and Trainability. If you have strong spatial reasoning (can you visualize a 3D house from 2D photos?) and can master complex software quickly, we can teach you the rest.

  • Skill Mastery:We will train you to become a master of Xactimate—the gold standard software in the insurance industry.
  • Clear Feedback Loop:You will work in a fast-paced "Review & Build" cycle where you get immediate feedback to sharpen your skills.
What You Will Do
  • Digital Architecture:Use field photos and notes to build accurate 3D roof diagrams and estimates in Xactimate.
  • Detective Work:Compare insurance documents against our field data to find "missing pieces" (gaps in the scope).
  • Iterate & Improve:Submit your work to our internal contractors, receive feedback, and quickly adjust the scope until it is perfect.
Learn the Code:You will learn to apply IRC/IBC building codes to justify line items and increase the value of the claim.

Requirements

  • Tech-Agility:You learn software fast. Shortcuts and hotkeys are your best friends.
  • Spatial IQ:You have a knack for visualizing structures. (Gamers, designers, and engineers often excel here).
  • Coachability:You don’t take feedback personally; you take it constructively. You can pivot quickly when a process changes.
  • Detail-Oriented:You spot the typo that everyone else missed.
  • Bonus (Not Required):Experience with Xactimate, construction, or insurance claims.
