Ireland onlyORS has a robust building surveying team seeking a senior building surveyor with 8 to 10 years’ experience to join our expanding team. The role involves preparing tenders, supervising tendering procedures, and providing professional advice on building issues.
Requirements
- BSc, (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying, or equivalent
- Chartered Building Surveyor and/or Registered Building Surveyor status desirable
- 5 to 10 years’ experience, preferably within a consultancy
- Strong onsite surveying skills with previous relevant commercial / residential building surveying experience
- Experience in negotiation of settlement with tenants/landlord’s surveyor on terminal Schedule of Dilapidations
- Experience in business development, client facing and presentation skills
- Proficient IT skills, including AutoCAD, Word and Excel
- Excellent technical knowledge and competence
- Strong report writing skills and excellent attention to detail
