Senior Software Engineer - Data & AI Security

Orca Security is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data & AI Security team. The role involves building the infrastructure that powers their Data Security Posture Management and AI security capabilities. The team scans and analyzes a broad set of data stores and AI services to find sensitive data, keys, PII, and misconfigurations. The successful candidate will have experience building backend services, distributed systems, and cloud databases, and will be passionate about building great products and solving real-world security challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience building backend services or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Python or Go
• Experience with major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
• Strong foundation in software design principles, concurrency, memory management, data structures, and algorithms
