Security Requirement: Reliability Clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex technology-enabled projects.
- Develop and manage project artefacts (charters, schedules, risk registers, performance reports, etc.).
Apply project management frameworks including iterative/Agile methodologies and Treasury Board gating processes.
Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, and budgets, ensuring compliance with GoC policies. - Facilitate stakeholder engagement with internal teams, senior executives, and external partners.
Conduct regular project status updates, performance reporting, and executive briefings. - Manage risks, issues, and changes proactively, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure project objectives are met while maintaining focus on organizational priorities and stakeholder satisfaction.
Mandatory Criteria:
- Valid Enhanced Reliability Security clearance
- 10+ years’ experience in project management, specifically managing technology-enabled projects
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing project artefacts and applying recognized PM processes.
- Experience as a Project Manager leading at least one large project (12+ months, 200+ employees, 20+ stakeholders) within the last 10 years
- At least 3 years’ experience (last 6 years) in iterative/agile project management including product demos, stakeholder feedback integration, and re-prioritization.
- Valid Project Management certification/designation (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MBA/degree specializing in Project Management).
- Minimum of one (1) year experience providing Project Manager services in the Canadian public sector within the last 60 months.
