Data architect (Fabric)

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cloud-first environment and enjoys shaping modern data architectures that drive business insights and innovation.

You will play a key role in defining data strategy, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture or similar roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse integration, etc.)

• Solid experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory)

• Expertise in data modeling (dimensional and relational)

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data processing

• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance

• Experience working in cloud-native environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions using Microsoft Fabric

• Define data models, data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures

• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Establish data governance, data quality, and security standards

• Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem

• Ensure compliance with data regulations and best practices
