Role Overview:
Opensend is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and engaging with potential customers through outbound efforts, generating leads, and nurturing relationships to ultimately drive sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Conduct research to identify and target outbound leads and accounts.
Utilize various tools and techniques to source and qualify new leads.
Create and maintain a robust pipeline of proactively sourced leads.
Outreach and Engagement:
Initiate contact with prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Craft compelling and personalized outreach messages to capture prospects' attention.
Schedule and coordinate appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team.
Qualification:
Conduct thorough qualification of outbound leads to assess their fit for Opensend’s products and services.
Identify key decision-makers within target organizations for effective engagement.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
Sales Collateral and Communication:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Opensend’s products and services to effectively communicate benefits and value propositions to prospects.
Share relevant marketing materials and resources with prospective leads to aid in their decision-making process.
Lead Nurturing:
Develop and nurture relationships with potential leads through ongoing communication and follow-ups.
Monitor and track prospect interactions, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.
Implement lead nurturing strategies to move leads through the sales funnel effectively.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales or business development or relevant marketing roles, preferably in e-commerce or SaaS industries
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Results-driven with a goal-oriented mindset
Proficient with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and familiar with tools like Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Apollo
Comfortable creating and sending personalized Loom videos to cold prospects
Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Outgoing personality with a willingness to represent the company at conferences and networking events
