Client Overview

Saddleman manufactures high-quality seat covers for all cars and trucks on the market. Our process involves creating custom seat patterns from raw vehicle seat dimensions, cutting and sewing the fabric in-house, and then shipping the finished seat covers directly to customers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Assistant with a background in graphic design or CAD software to assist in creating 2D drawings for seat cover patterns. This role will involve receiving raw measurements from our local team, translating them into 2D designs using CAD software, and working with our automatic cutting machine software, PatternSmith 11.0.

Requirement :

• Use CAD software to create 2D/3D drawings of seat cover patterns based on measurements provided.
• Accurately translate raw vehicle seat dimensions into precise 2D/3D parts for fabric cutting.
• Collaborate with the local team to ensure the correct application of measurements in the design process.
• Work with PatternSmith 11.0 to design and control the automatic cutting process for fabric.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all designs and patterns.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and specifications for each customer order.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with CAD software and design principles.
• Strong ability to create 2D designs based on provided measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in designs and measurements.
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).

Like to Have:

• Fluency in Arabic.
• Experience with sewing, upholstery, or the automotive aftermarket industry.

Software Used:

• PatternSmith 11.0 (training will be provided if necessary).
• Familiarity with graphic design or CAD programs will aid in learning the required software.
