About You

Although you may appear as a pleasant person on the surface, the ugly truth is that you are a stickler for detail, you are more organised than a wedding planner, and you leave no stone unturned to make sure our software is bug-free. We’re looking for an ace employee. To help our development team deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Working within an Agile development process.
• Reviewing agile stories, to ensure testability and to identify issues early.
• Designing test cases and test scenarios to effectively test applications across several platforms.
• Manually testing features on different user systems and platforms.
• Performing a variety of different functional and non-functional testing types.
• Identifying and investigating issues, including triaging with Product Owners and Developers.
• Managing defects through to resolution and performing regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Experience and Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in computer science, software engineering or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Software Testing principles and practices.
• 2-4 years of solid testing experience in a similar role.
• Experience working in an agile team and an understanding of agile framework (Scrum).
• Prior experience in using test management tools e.g. JIRA
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with testing across a range of application types, including web, mobile and desktop.
• Proven ability to read and understand test requirements and list the logical testing paths.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Some technical background, the ability to read and write SQL queries, read code and understand SQL database structures.
• The ability to self-manage deliverables and communicate concerns.
