Overview

Information Security Senior Architect

One Identity is an award-winning security software provider offering a broad selection of solutions that solve some of the most common and most challenging IT security problems. Part of the One Identity Software group, One Identity solutions eliminate the complexities and time-consuming processes often required to govern identities, manage privileged accounts, and control access. Our solutions enhance business agility while addressing IAM challenges within on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The combined entity delivers a complete portfolio of market-leading Identity Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Governance solutions. Now, customers can achieve identity-centric security with trusted, proven technology in each major category.

This role will be a leader responsible for designing, validating, and evolving enterprise-wide security architectures and controls that align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies. Secure enterprise platforms, networks, identity systems, and core infrastructure, ensuring resilient, scalable, and compliant environments that support business growth. You will partner with infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams to embed security into foundational technology layers—not just applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with senior IT and business leaders (VP/C-level) to align security architecture with long-term strategic goals.
  • Define and evolve enterprise security architecture across networks, cloud platforms, endpoints, identity systems, and data centers.
  • Lead adoption of Zero Trust architecture across infrastructure, identity, and network layers.
  • Drive secure infrastructure design patterns for compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling to identify and re-mediate design-level vulnerabilities.
  • Drive maturity in security domains, including DLP, intrusion prevention, endpoint protection, network security, application security, vulnerability management, and IAM.
  • Lead implementation and configuration of enterprise security tooling, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and methodologies to support consistent architecture practices.
  • Monitor emerging threats and technologies, providing proactive recommendations to strengthen security posture.
  • Evaluate and onboard third-party solutions, ensuring secure integration and compliance.
  • Provide strategic guidance on encryption, secure protocols, and infrastructure hardening.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 12+ years in cybersecurity, with strong emphasis on enterprise infrastructure and platform security architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and securing large-scale enterprise environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
  • Deep expertise in network, system, and identity security architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to varying audiences (development, engineers, leadership).
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture and security, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure, identity systems (Active Directory, IAM, PAM), and encryption, PKI, and key management.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and configuration management.
  • Excellent analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Zero Trust and large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (infrastructure-focused rather than app-focused).
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS GIAC.

One Identity provides modern identity solutions essential in an era marked by the proliferation of human and machine identities (and AI), rapid migration to the cloud, and the rise of remote work. One Identity protects and unifies the four core elements of identity security: Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Active Directory Management (AD Mgmt).

A dramatic proliferation of identities, combined with the fragmented approach that many organizations address identity security today, has created unprecedented opportunities for bad actors. One Identity helps close this cybersecurity exposure gap with an integrated, modular set of solutions that delivers unparalleled visibility, control, and protection. The Unified Identity Security Platform brings together best-in-class capabilities to enable organizations to shift from a fragmented to an integrated approach to identity security.
