What began as a novel idea in 2004, sparked by Simon Martin's experience at Aviva where he saw the power of embedding teams directly within client operations, has blossomed into OLIVER Agency, a true disruptor in the marketing and advertising world. Inspired by his entrepreneurial grandfather, Simon envisioned a new way for agencies to collaborate with brands. He launched OLIVER with the pioneering concept of building bespoke, dedicated in-house agencies that operate from within the client's own offices. This unique model was designed to deliver more effective work at the speed required by modern businesses, fostering deeper understanding and more agile responses to client needs.

From its inception, OLIVER's journey has been one of rapid growth and global expansion. The agency's core philosophy of working smarter to make clients' money go further and helping them build better solutions, systems, and brands resonated deeply in the market. This approach led to long-term relationships with major clients like Unilever, for whom OLIVER developed U-Studio, a platform utilized by a significant portion of Unilever's brands globally, and adidas, with the establishment of an off-shore hub. The agency's ability to provide tech-driven solutions and an award-winning portfolio further fueled its ascent. By January 2019, OLIVER joined The Brandtech Group (formerly You & Mr Jones), gaining access to a wider array of cutting-edge marketing technology solutions and further solidifying its position at the forefront of industry innovation.
