Description
Join our Mobile Experience team and take part in implementing events across Oklahoma and other parts of the region with the Thunder Bolt! The OG&E Thunder Bolt is our traveling exhibit and a key part of our marketing and community engagement efforts. It offers interactive basketball experiences for fans who may not have access to our brand. The Thunder Bolt features activities for all ages, including trivia, game highlights, a locker room display, virtual reality, and more!
As a Thunder Mobile Experience Associate, you will engage with fans and assist with setup and logistics at events such as fairs, festivals, and community gatherings.
In this role you will:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Fan Development Department, including coordinating event materials, loading signage and giveaways, installing event signage, and organizing storage areas
- Act as a brand ambassador at local and regional events, directly engaging with fans to enhance their experience through interactive displays
- Assist with setting up the OG&E Thunder Bolt mobile display, implementing event activations, and maintaining the display before and after events
- Occasionally work on non-event days to complete tasks in and out of the office
- Handle supply runs and track inventory
- Travel to all local and regional Thunder Bolt appearances
- Occasionally help set up outdoor pregame activations at home games
- Support event setup and teardown for various Fan Development activities as needed
- Stay informed about basketball player memorabilia and facts
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation for interactions with diverse individuals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Problem-solving skills with adaptability to changing situations
- Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with towing trailers and hitching trucks is helpful
Additional Details:
This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Fan Activation Lead. The work schedule will not exceed 30 hours per week and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location will be Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with frequent travel to Thunder Bolt events throughout the region. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required, including the ability to travel locally and regionally with occasional overnight stays. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and participating in on-court or activation activities such as shooting, dribbling, or retrieving basketballs. The role also involves working in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
