As a Data Management & Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of marketing data across multiple client accounts. You will support data pipelines, validate datasets, and maintain reporting systems that enable reliable, insight-driven decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly execution-focused, detail-oriented, and technically strong, with the ability to proactively identify issues, improve processes, and operate effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.

Accountability

Your success as a Data Management & Operations Specialist will be defined by the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of the data systems you support, ensuring stakeholders can confidently rely on reporting outputs.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:


Data Management & Integration

  • Aggregate and integrate data from multiple marketing platforms using tools such as Funnel.io and data warehouses.
  • Clean, normalize, and structure datasets for consistency and usability.
  • Perform ongoing QA checks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies across systems.

Dashboard Development & Maintenance

  • Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau and similar BI tools.
  • Ensure data sources are properly connected, structured, and scalable.
  • Monitor dashboards for anomalies and data flow issues.
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies proactively.

Campaign Tracking & Implementation

  • Support campaign tracking setup, including UTMs and tagging structures.
  • Implement and validate tracking requirements across platforms.
  • Assist with pixel setup and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate tracking.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting Support

  • Prepare clean, structured datasets for reporting workflows.
  • Support recurring reporting cycles with accurate and timely data.
  • Identify anomalies and flag irregular performance trends.
  • Contribute to insights and optimization opportunities over time.

Operations & Workflow Management

  • Manage multiple data and reporting requests across client accounts.
  • Track tasks and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • Anticipate upcoming reporting and campaign needs proactively.

Colleagues

You’ll work closely with analytics managers, media teams, and external partners, acting as a key execution partner in maintaining reliable data systems and reporting workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

As a Data Management & Operations Specialist, your vertical focus will be on maintaining accurate and reliable marketing data systems, while your horizontal focus will include marketing analytics understanding, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or analytics operations within an agency or performance marketing environment.
  • Data & BI Tools: Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Funnel.io and Tableau, with the ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards.
  • Data Handling & Validation: Proven ability to clean, normalize, and validate data across multiple sources, ensuring high levels of accuracy and integrity.
  • Marketing Data Understanding: Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Analytics, including campaign tracking concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of SQL or data warehousing tools such as BigQuery is a strong advantage.
  • Execution & Ownership: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver consistent, high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Role Specifications

This is a remote role, where you will be expected to work a split shift with some overlap with our client’s time zone. You will, however, be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 90 days with us.
