We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to partner with a growing professional services firm that has recently undergone a major rebrand and is now ready to elevate its marketing presence. The company is looking for a strategic yet hands-on marketer to bring structure, creativity, and consistency to its outreach — across social media, conferences, and digital engagement.
If you’re a proactive marketer who enjoys balancing creative storytelling with the operational side of marketing, this role is your opportunity to shape the marketing function from the ground up.
Accountability
As a Marketing Manager, your success will be defined by your ability to establish a strong marketing rhythm, drive consistent brand visibility, and translate strategic direction into actionable campaigns. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing the content calendar, managing event marketing efforts, and ensuring the company’s brand and message are consistently represented across every channel.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Social Media & Content Strategy
- Develop and maintain a marketing calendar aligned with company goals.
- Create, schedule, and manage posts on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Repurpose and expand on existing brand materials and content created during the company’s rebrand.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure brand voice and messaging consistency.
Conference & Event Marketing
- Plan and coordinate the company’s presence at key industry conferences and events.
- Manage pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up communications.
- Create marketing materials, brochures, and newsletters to promote attendance and showcase capabilities.
- Collaborate with the leadership and executive assistant teams for scheduling and logistics.
Email & CRM Outreach
- Draft and schedule outreach and follow-up campaigns (no cold outreach required).
- Update and maintain the CRM (Zoho) with event data, contacts, and notes.
- Support leadership in tracking meeting outcomes and ensuring all follow-ups are completed.
Website & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics or similar tools.
- Identify and implement opportunities to drive more organic traffic and engagement.
- Explore creative ways to increase visibility — experience with AI tools or SEO is a plus.
Colleagues
You’ll work closely with the Leadership Team and collaborate with cross-functional partners who support sales, events, and client relationships.
At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.
Skills & Qualifications
At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals — those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Marketing Manager, your vertical focus will be on marketing strategy and execution, while your horizontal focus will include event coordination, CRM management, and performance analytics.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience: 3–6 years in marketing, communications, or digital strategy — ideally within B2B or professional services environments.
- Social Media: Proven ability to manage and grow corporate LinkedIn presence.
- Content Creation: Strong copywriting and design sense, able to repurpose brand assets effectively.
- Event Marketing: Experience planning, coordinating, and promoting conference participation.
- CRM Management: Familiarity with Zoho or other CRM tools.
- Analytics: Basic understanding of web performance metrics and Google Analytics.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Mindset: Creative, proactive, and highly organized with a strong sense of ownership.
Bonus skills:
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for marketing and visibility.
- Knowledge of SEO or digital lead generation strategies.
- Experience creating newsletters or client communications.
- Familiarity with marketing automation or email platforms.
Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.
During the interview process, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:
- Social Media Management: How you’ve developed and executed content calendars that build engagement.
- Event Marketing: Examples of how you’ve managed marketing around conferences or industry events.
- Brand Application: How you’ve leveraged existing brand guidelines to create consistent, compelling materials.
- CRM & Analytics: How you’ve maintained clean marketing data and tracked campaign performance.
- Creativity & Proactivity: How you’ve taken initiative to identify marketing opportunities and bring them to life.
