We are Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp. (NWRECC), an Idaho 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1999 by Brad A. Elg. Our core mission revolves around creating, preserving, and managing affordable housing for low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We firmly believe in 'Housing with Pride. Life with Dignity,' and this motto guides our daily operations and long-term vision. We specialize in the property management and rehabilitation of various housing types, including HUD/Section 8, Rural Development, and Tax Credit Housing. Our commitment extends beyond just providing shelter; we aim to foster environments where residents can thrive and achieve self-sufficiency.

Our operations span across multiple states in the Northwest, including Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming, where we manage over 5,300 affordable housing units. We understand that stable housing is a critical stepping stone towards a brighter future. Therefore, we integrate resident services designed to empower individuals and families. These services focus on promoting housing stability, economic mobility, and independent living. Through our Stepping Stones program, founded in 2006, we provide access to technology, community resources, skills training, and mentoring. We partner with various community organizations and service providers to enhance the support network available to our residents, addressing areas such as employment, education, health and wellness, and financial empowerment. We are dedicated to making our housing a vibrant part of the community, connecting residents with social and economic institutions to help them become productive members of society.
