The Data & Analytics Manager provides essential support and leadership across Advisory Services delivery, internal team development, and strategic sales enablement. The Data & Analytics team is part of Nordic’s Digital Health team and works across many solution areas to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise for healthcare needs related to Data Management, Reporting Infrastructure, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

The Data & Analytics Manager will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Managing client engagement scope and overall delivery of agreed upon solutions
  • Maintaining an understanding of client needs and structures, prioritizing client satisfaction, and working across teams to address any issues raised
  • Maintaining relationships within customer accounts, building Nordic’s presence and brand within the account, and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings
  • Managing workloads within Nordic D&A solution teams and mentoring Nordic D&A team members
  • Managing Analytics Strategy engagements, including leading client interviews, deliverable creation, and client presentations
  • Assisting D&A to refine and maintain marketing information, sales strategy, and participating in sales support
  • Assisting with client acquisition and retention, maximizing team productivity and solution delivery
  • Continuously improving process and internal support documents, and assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leading client sessions, articulating services and providing regular project updates
  • Coordinating and forecasting work; plans accordingly
  • Participating in continuous learning opportunities
  • Working to uphold and strengthen Nordic’s corporate culture
  • Working with the client team on sales enablement and sales processes
  • Working on business operations projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6 years of experience in healthcare industry is preferred; 2 years of people management
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Exceptional customer management and service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complicated projects, preferably related to strategic data & analytics solutions in the healthcare space
  • Experience in leading team members, including onboarding, professional development, mentoring, training, and workload management
  • Passion for developing creative, innovative solutions to meet healthcare Data & Analytics needs, including the use of AI
  • Experience in developing enterprise analytics strategy, including current state assessment, future state definition and roadmap development
  • Experience in data conversions in large EHR (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred
  • Experience in Epic Cogito implementations and maintenance, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Healthcare data standards (CCDA, HL7, Claims, FHIR etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of visualization technologies, such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI
  • Experience with database and/or Cloud development using MS SQL, Oracle, MS Azure, AWS, GCP, or other technologies, preferred
  • Understanding ETL technologies, such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks preferred
  • Certification in one or more EHR application data models or related experience nice to have
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to organize with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims

Additional Details

  • Work Remotely in a professional home office or Nordic’s Home Office in Madison, WI
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Occasional off hours support as needed
