What Were Looking For

We are seeking a highly analytical, structured, and motivated Functional Analyst with a strong ability to interpret, conceptualise and design complex information flows and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will combine skills in functional analysis, software development, and data modelling, acting as a vital bridge between business vision and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed functional analysis based on business and regulatory requirements;
• Design and document information flows, algorithms, and data models;
• Translate business needs into clear, structured technical and functional specifications;
• Contribute to architectural discussions, with a strong focus on data structuring and API design;
• Evaluate the technical feasibility and scope of new features and support backlog grooming and sprint planning;
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to align on solution design and delivery;
• Support development teams throughout implementation, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices;
• Promote a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and scalability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Physics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical fields;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Product Owner (experience in SaaS or complex software products is a plus);
• Strong analytical and system-thinking skills, with fluency in data structures, process modelling and algorithmic thinking;
• Proven experience in designing technical specifications, APIs, and data models;
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban);
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Strapi) or event-driven architectures;
• Knowledge of data architecture, analytical pipelines, or scalable systems;
• Background or interest in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
