We are the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), and since our founding in 1989, we have been passionately committed to empowering people to access a better future in the healthcare industry. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to enhance the quality of patient care by establishing national competency standards for frontline healthcare workers. This mission drives everything we do, from developing industry-leading certification exams to providing comprehensive learning resources and advocating for the professions we serve. Over the years, we have had the honor of awarding over a million certifications, each one representing a life changed and a step towards a more robust healthcare system.
