The Sr. Python Developer is responsible to lead the development of scalable backend systems and API services that power advanced AI agents. This role requires expertise in operationalizing AI/ML and Generative AI models, integrating agentic frameworks such as MCP, ACP, and A2A, and building resilient backend infrastructure.- Architect, design, and maintain high-performance RESTful and event-driven APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, etc.).
- Develop advanced integration layers for AI agents using MCP, ACP, A2A, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Drive the operationalization of AI/ML and GenAI pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment into backend systems.
- Build and optimize real-time orchestration frameworks that integrate multiple agentic workflows.
- Own backend system scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance, with emphasis on large-scale distributed environments.
- Leverage Unix/Linux systems expertise for automation, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Ensure HIPAA-compliant and secure handling of healthcare data across services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers, product owners, and data scientists to align backend services with AI roadmaps.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
- Proven experience in AI/ML and GenAI model integration into backend systems.
- Expertise in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong track record of delivering secure, compliant, and production-ready APIs in regulated environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of: Knowledge or experience of embedding AI and agent-based workflows into production. Advanced proficiency in Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and microservices architectures. Strong familiarity with agentic frameworks (MCP, ACP, A2A, LangChain, LangGraph). Deep understanding of Unix/Linux-based systems, distributed computing, and performance tuning.
- Skill in: Strong backend engineering skills.
- Ability to: Ability to architect and scale backend services for high-throughput, low-latency applications.
