About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a long‑term international project focused on modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure DevOps practices within a highly regulated environment.
You will work closely with engineering, data, and application teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on AWS.
What You Will Do
Cloud & Infrastructure
Work hands‑on with core AWS production services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM)
Design and maintain workflow orchestration, ideally using AWS Step Functions
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK
Manage containerized workloads (Docker, ECS/ECR)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
Apply AWS and DevOps security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, secure pipelines)
Programming & Automation
Use Python for automation, scripting, OOP, and CDK-driven workflows
Operating Systems
Work with Linux administration, troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
Databases
Use SQL and have foundational experience with PostgreSQL
Testing
Write and maintain tests using pytest (unit & integration testing)
Who You Are
Strong background in AWS cloud engineering and DevOps automation
Proficient in Python (automation, scripting, OOP, CDK)
Confident with Linux administration and containerization
Solid understanding of CI/CD and secure cloud operations
Experienced in SQL & PostgreSQL fundamentals
Strong English skills (C1) — daily communication with international teams
Located in Czechia or Slovakia
Excellent communication and ownership mindset
Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas
Serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions)
Experience with data‑heavy AWS services (Glue, Batch)
Background in Electronic Health Records (EHR) or healthcare data processing
