Ireland onlyNETGEAR is seeking a Director of Cloud and Engineering Enablement to lead the transformation of their cloud platform into a modern, automation-first, high-performance engineering ecosystem. The successful candidate will oversee cloud platform engineering, site reliability engineering, cloud architecture, and cloud shared services, and will be responsible for establishing a strong SRE culture, improving DORA metrics, and driving AI-enabled engineering adoption.
Requirements
- 12+ years of engineering experience with significant cloud leadership responsibility
- Proven track record transforming engineering teams into high-performing organizations
- Experience operating and scaling cloud platforms (AWS highly advantageous)
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong SRE and reliability engineering background
- Demonstrated experience improving DORA metrics in production environments
- Experience implementing and rolling out enterprise observability platforms (e.g., Datadog)
- Experience leading AI tooling adoption across engineering teams
- Experience operating revenue-critical systems at scale
- Excellent stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Security, and Finance
