The Summer Intern supports the function of their designated department within Navitus, Lumicera or Epiphany.

How do I make an impact on my team?
- Conduct medical and drug literature searches to read and evaluate clinical trials and studies
- Create and prepare clinical drug reviews to determine inclusion in clinical programs
- Analyze new orphan drug therapies clinical effectiveness, economic evaluation, and pricing strategies
- Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
- Manage, organize, and analyze information databases relative to intern projects
- Support the mission and conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner while abiding by all privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Follow all corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain scheduled hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the department. Be available to work 40 hours per week and, if asked, some occasional overtime.
- Recognize, suggest, and assist with process improvements.
- Display critical thinking and problem-solving competencies
- Assist with special projects
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Perform duties assigned by supervisor and department mentors. Intern duties will vary in each department.
What our team expects from you?
- High school degree or equivalent required. Must be 18 years or older.
- Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program for the upcoming school year.
- Must have at least 1 year of coursework completed.
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
- Proven solid oral and written communication skills
- Proven adequate mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- The intern role is considered a learning opportunity and as such, no specific experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supports.
