United States onlymxdwn Games News Writers are expected to be on top of and keep up to date with what’s going on in the gaming industry on a daily basis. Writers are encouraged to go out and find the news that is relevant, fresh, and interesting to a broad gaming audience. They are expected to be able to research, source information, and then convey that news in a well structured, engaging article, on a 5 days a week basis.
To be successful in this position, you must:
- Have a passion for journalism, writing, and video games.
- Have a competent understanding of the English language including: grammar, flow, structure, and spelling.
- Have adequate time to properly research and write a cohesive article 5 times a week. (300 words minimum)
- Be able to work professionally with all members of the Games department.
- Have access to the internet and your own personal computer.
Please note that this is an UNPAID position.The benefits of joining the mxdwn Games team are experience, exposure, and a foot in the door into the industry.
No prior experience is required. A degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar fields are a plus. If selected, you will receive training on how to write and publish a standard article using our site’s content management system.
