Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will drive SMB sales (Small to Medium Business) through our shareholder banks across the assigned regional markets, to ensure meeting or exceeding pre-set yearly targets. The SMB sales targets include net new merchant targets, cross-sell to existing merchants targets, and an overall revenue target. You will manage a team of up to approximately 10 SMB Regional Sales Consultants in assigned territories, to ensure cross-functional collaboration, relationship management, and maximize winning of sales opportunities.

Location: You will report into our Etobicoke office and will work remotely.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, SMB Regional Sales

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $80K-$110K.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • You will achieve sales results by building a strong team through robust efforts as it relates to recruitment, training, coaching, performance management, and retention of qualified sales team. This includes, planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing procedures, overlooking onboarding process of new consultants, motivating, and growing high-performing Sales Consultants.

  • Hold team accountable to manage assigned leads and within the agreed Service level agreements & response timelines to ensure better conversion of leads and building relations with both bankers and customers.

  • Encourage the Sales Consultants to maximize revenue by engaging and prospecting with bankers and customers to exceed sales targets.

  • Develop partnerships internally and externally, including our partner banks, to help achieve our goals. Provide input to Marketing and Product Development on important products and initiatives required to close gaps in current product offering and in current client segment

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • 7+ years of strategic sales/ account management/ business development experience with a track record of sales results

  • 2+ years of experience

  • A proven track record of success in an aggressive target driven sales environment.

  • Understanding of strategic selling techniques with strong negotiation skills

  • Experience in sales management methodologies, processes and reporting requirements

  • People leadership is critical in this responsibility – both the ability to work in teams across the organization with multiple partners and to influence and align with others.

  • Have the ability to constructively confront people and issues.

  • Apply strategic thinking to business issues & drive results
