You will optimize delivery of service to meet business demands and to meet the service operations strategy. In addition, you will plan, measure, report, and communicate service improvement initiatives, consult on issues and resolutions, and recommend steps to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks. In this role, you will also identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, establish and oversee them and support management with regional service contracts, in-country billing and cross charging.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, BAU and continuous improvement of global network operations and monitoring services. You will leverage your technical expertise and operational experience to drive service excellence, proactive monitoring, and efficient incident response across the global network landscape. Monitoring Tools would be one of your major role.

How You Will Contribute

You will lead and optimize Global Network Operations and Monitoring services to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of the enterprise network.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive end-to-end service/operational delivery for Global Network Operations
  • Will be the admin for all the Network Monitoring tools owned by MDLZ and will be responsible for there performance and configurations.
  • DNS, DHCP & IPAM end to end service management using BloxOne.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response to minimize business impact
  • Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to improve operational efficiency and service quality
  • Lead major incident management (MIM) and ensure timely resolution, communication & RCA
  • Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics, driving accountability across vendors
  • Identify and implement automation and monitoring enhancements to reduce manual effort
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives and operational excellence
  • Act as a key liaison between engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Vulnerability remediation on all Network Tools would be a direct KRA.
  • Operational Reporting & Dashboard updates will also play a major part in this role.

  • Strong understanding of network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Splunk ITSI, DNAC, Juniper Mist etc.)
  • Integration technical capabilities between different tools and platform using API calling or Native integration modules.
  • Understanding of scripting languages i.e. Python & PowerShell.
  • Hand-on experience on ITSM tool (ServiceNow)
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management (ITIL framework)
  • Stakeholder management and vendor governance
  • Leading major incidents and crisis situations
  • Driving service delivery and operational excellence

This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Global Network Operations and Monitoring services, ensuring network proactive monitoring, stability across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will oversee monitoring platforms, incident management processes, and vendor performance to ensure that the organization achieves best-in-class uptime and service reliability.

The role requires a strong balance of technical depth and operational leadership, with a focus on proactive detection, rapid response, and continuous improvement.

  • Own and manage Global Network Monitoring & Operations.
  • Managed & Improve the existing Network Monitoring Tools.
  • Managed the DNS, DHCP & IPAM BloxOne Platform.
  • Ensure real-time visibility into network performance and availability
  • Drive monitoring standardization and tool optimization across regions
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure smooth transition of projects to operations
  • Manage and govern third-party service providers and support partners
  • Ensure compliance with service management processes and contractual SLAs

What Extra Ingredients You Will Bring

  • Experience in managing large-scale global network environments (LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, SASE)
  • Strong exposure to cloud network operations (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, alerting, and observability platforms
  • Ability to drive automation and AIOps initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and availability management

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 13–15 years of relevant experience in Network Monitoring & Operations

Preferred Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation / Intermediate
  • CCNP (Preferred)
  • Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP) (preferred)
  • Monitoring or observability tool certifications (preferred)

Job-Specific Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of network technologies (Routing, Switching, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Splunk ITSI, Cisco DNAC etc.)
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP & IPAM with BloxOne.
  • Understanding of cloud networking (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Firewalls)
  • Understanding of Network Access control. (Cisco ISE)
  • Experience in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management
  • Ability to define and improve monitoring thresholds, alert tuning, and noise reduction
  • Experience with SLA management, reporting, and dashboards
  • Knowledge of network security and SASE platforms (Zscaler, etc.) is a plus

Processes Management

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)
  • Drive process standardization and governance across regions and vendors
  • Continuously improve monitoring, escalation, and response processes
  • Promote automation and efficiency in operations workflows

Communications Management

  • Provide clear and timely communication during incidents and outages
  • Engage regularly with CTO stakeholders and business teams
  • Collaborate effectively with global engineering and operations teams
  • Drive transparency through reporting and service reviews
