Marketing & Growth Manager

Molecule is at the heart of the Decentralized Science (DeSci) movement where biotech and blockchain meet to democratize scientific research, earning recognition and support from key figures in the web3 world, including Vitalik Buterin, Balaji, and Juan Benet. We're known for creating VitaDAO, the first and largest biotech DAO with more than $4m in funding deployed, bio.xyz, a vital hub supporting and building biotech DAOs, the IP-NFT, a protocol bringing rights to IP and R&D data on-chain, and IPTs, ERC-20 tokens minted from IP-NFTs to allow token holders to construct and cultivate valuable IP. We’ve also recently launched launchpad, a platform to launch, discover, and fund the best projects in DeSci.

Your Role

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Marketing & Growth Manager to define and drive Molecule’s brand narrative, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and positioning as we enter a new phase of product growth. You’ll lead our rebranding efforts, launch our upcoming IP protocol, and position Molecule as a thought leader at the intersection of web3 and biotech.

This role is perfect for a hands on leader who thrives in early-stage environments, can craft powerful narratives, and is eager to shape the next wave of decentralized science.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strategy & Positioning

  • Own Molecule’s brand, narrative, and positioning.

  • Collaborate closely with Product to align messaging with roadmap and quarterly GTM priorities.

  • Lead our transition to a unified “Molecule-as-product” story.

  • Ensure product updates are clearly integrated into brand and narrative strategy.

  Go-to-Market Execution

  • Drive GTM planning and execution for our IP protocol and other launches.

  • Coordinate cross-functional launch efforts (docs, blogs, decks, events).

  • Ensure each campaign has clear messaging, assets, and success metrics tied to growth goals.

  Thought Leadership & Content

  • Establish Molecule’s voice through long-form content: whitepapers, keynotes, blog series.

  • Manage PR, partnerships, and visibility initiatives.

  • Lead internal and external rollout of our new visual identity.

  Community & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Communicate product updates with clarity and empathy to our existing community and partners.

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all channels.

  Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the Marketing & Communications team.

  • Set clear goals and grow team capabilities over time.

What We’re Looking For

• Strategic Leadership & Innovation: Proven ability to develop marketing strategies in complex, fast-evolving sectors.

• Experience & Skills: 8+ years in marketing, preferably in startups or emerging industries, with expertise in product launches, brand repositioning, and communication in tech or science.

• Relationship & Communication Skills: Previous experience leading a marketing team, partnership development, crisis management, and community engagement abilities.

• Technical & Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of web3 technologies, biotech, DeSci and DeFi, with excellent technical writing and data analysis skills.
